- On Friday, actors Jane Fonda and Ted Danson were arrested in Washington D.C. along with other climate activists. This marks the third Friday in a row that Jane Fonda has been arrested during her “Fire Drill Fridays.” She is trying to raise awareness about the climate crisis. Go Jane!
- A mysterious oil spill has devastated beaches in northeast Brazil. The federal government has failed to resolve the issue so local citizens are pitching in to clean up the mess and help wildlife.
- The Guardian published an article titled, “Why do people hate vegans?” Based on the title, I thought this article might be an anti-vegan opinion piece but it surprisingly was not.
- California is going to build the largest wildlife crossing in the world. It will allow animals to safely cross over a busy 10-lane highway in L.A. and access food and mating partners. We could use a lot more of these wildlife crossings throughout the country.
